Overview
Vis ma Vie allows healthcare employees to spend a day discovering a colleague’s role in another department or facility. The platform included a facility portal and an employee portal, developed within a six-person Agile team.
My contribution
Facility & employee portals
Built React interfaces for facilities to publish roles, capacity and time slots, and for employees to register and select a one-day immersion.
REST backend
Developed Node.js/Express/TypeScript models and APIs with MongoDB, Mongoose, the Repository pattern and Swagger.
Visibility & delivery
Delivered event-participation dashboards and supported Azure deployment, monitoring and iterative delivery through Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
Engineering focus
Two interfaces around the same workflow
Facility teams managed available roles and capacity, while employees used a separate portal to register and choose an immersion. My work spanned those interfaces and their supporting APIs.
Working across delivery disciplines
Delivery involved collaboration with design, product, frontend, backend and DevOps colleagues, including deployment and monitoring work.
Outcome & scope
The contribution connected role publication, employee registration and participation visibility across the two portals and backend services.
